As a child, the South Tyrolean wanted to become a sports teacher, because the sport has always been an important part of her life, but as a saleswoman, Petra has found her absolute dream job. For forty years, this friendly, caring, and cheerful mother has been responsible for buying and selling sports equipment, and for managing and coordinating the staff and the visual merchandising in the Mountain Shop.
"I love working with people and giving them advice during their purchases. I'm always happy when I'm at the shop", tells us Petra with a smile. "It's very important to me to treat every person with respect." Her value-oriented and respectful approach is indeed tangible to the customers as well, who greatly appreciate her attentive, honest and uncomplicated manner, and her keen sense of color combinations.
"I like working at the Oberalp because sustainability is close to my heart", tells us Petra, running her hands over the latest jackets and trousers made from the natural fibers of wool and hemp. But she also appreciates her employer's competence in the various company divisions. "Above all, I am happy that I am allowed to work independently", says Petra. She is a sociable family person, who likes to be outdoor in her free time, who likes to travel, laugh and enjoy good food.
Being successful means standing up once more than falling
is her motto in life, "I learned this as a young girl while doing sports", the fighter tells us confidently. But for her, sport is also balance and relaxation. When running, walking, and ski touring, she refuels her energy and gains a good sense of her body.
